Tribun Riddles

Each puzzle shows a board section with the starting situation and which player begins. Sometimes, several puzzles use the same position but with different starting players or perspectives. Fields are numbered, and large numbers indicate the initial stack height and color. A lone tribune is marked as T; combined tribunes are shown as 'stack height'T (e.g., T+1 = 2T). Impero (expansion rule) is shown with prisoners bottom left, guards top right.

There are sections for 90% rules (beginners) and 100% rules (experienced). 90% puzzles can always be played with 100% rules, but not vice versa. Puzzles are numbered until we find good names. Next to the name, e.g. 4x1, means 4 puzzles with 1 move to find.

Only your own moves that do not capture the tribune are counted. The opponent is assumed to play optimally, so you should minimize their options. In many puzzles, you must attack the tribune with every move. Each puzzle has a guaranteed solution, but sometimes you might find an even better one!

A move is always shown as two board sections: before and after. An arrow in the player's color points from before to after.
